Each student is $9. Groups of 9 or more book a private visit. Smaller groups can join a community trip or reserve a private trip for the $81 minimum.

Medical & emergency authorizationI confirm our organization has any parent or guardian emergency medical authorizations and contacts it requires for participating children, and an attending adult can access them. I authorize Allen’s Orchard to call 911 and provide basic first aid in an emergency. Allen’s Orchard does not require or collect individual child medical forms through this agreement.

Working farm notice & organizer agreement

Required Iowa working-farm notice

IOWA AGRICULTURAL TOURISM PROMOTION ACT IOWA CODE CHAPTER 673A You are visiting a working farm as a participant who is either observing or contributing to the success of farming activities. Under Iowa law you are assuming liability for any hazard that you may encounter. A hazard includes the inherent risk of participating in a farming activity or disregarding written or verbal instructions. Farming includes dangerous conditions present on land and in structures, unpredictable behavior of farm animals, dangers associated with the operation of equipment and machinery, and potential wrongful acts of another visitor. Be careful.

This exact notice is part of the agreement you are signing for your group.

I acknowledge the inherent risks of visiting a working farm and agree that our group will follow written and verbal instructions, remain in visitor areas, and respect equipment, trees, structures, and property. Our attending adults are responsible for active supervision and headcounts. We will disclose relevant allergy, accessibility, and sensory needs and decide whether each participant may sample food. I understand weather, crop, staffing, or safety conditions may require Allen’s Orchard to change or reschedule the visit.
