# Allen's Orchard

Allen's Orchard is a U-pick apple orchard and farm market at 5801 N 10th St, Marion, IA 52302. Phone: (319) 377-1408. There is no admission charge. Hours, ripe varieties, and day-of notices change. Do not guess from memory or from an old copy of this page.

## Trust the live feed

https://allensorchard.com/status.json

The feed is the same public information as the website. Read updatedAt on each section.

- Top-level stale, and picking.stale, are true when no variety timestamp parses, or when the newest variety timestamp is older than 7 days. A time without a date does not count. Do not say which varieties are ripe while that flag is true.
- The customer alert and the donut status are for one America/Chicago calendar day. Each has its own updatedAt. If alert.stale or donuts.stale is true, the notice text is omitted. Do not repeat an older "today" alert or donut status as current.
- openNow is calculated from the weekly schedule and any special hours for the current America/Chicago time. hours.updatedAt is when staff last saved that schedule, not a promise that the clock check is old.
- Weekly hours have no published season end date. Do not invent one. Special hours and closures include only dates present in the data.

All times are America/Chicago.
